Ess Hödlmoser’s award–winning circus acts have been shared on prestigious international stages the world over, including the rare distinction of having been selected twice for the Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain (40th and 44th editions; Prix Moulin Rouge, Prix Cirque Phénix). Ess’s innovative work has been generously supported by the Canada Council for the Arts, Chalmers’ Professional Development Award, Toronto Arts Council, and more.
Outside the big-top, you can catch Ess on-screen as an actor and stunt performer in shows like The Boys (Amazon Prime), FRANKENSTEIN (Netflix), Station 11 (HBO Max), and Motherland: Fort Salem (Freeform / Disney), or voicing your favorite heroes and villains in games like Star Wars: Outlaws and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.
